The reigning champions remain unbeaten at home after a four-goal victory in the season's standout fixture.
SC Tbilisi maintained their perfect home record with a 31–27 win over Kutaisi HC in the pick of this weekend's Superliga fixtures, extending their lead at the top of the table to two points.
Right back Aleksandre Gogia top-scored with nine goals, while the champions' fast break repeatedly punished a tiring Kutaisi side in the closing quarter.
Kutaisi remain third but will feel the gap to the top two is now a difficult one to close with six rounds remaining.
